Mission
Gift House is a waterfront retreat center on the Great Wicomico River where people rest deeply, reconnect with themselves and nature, and leave ready to spread peace in the world. We offer luxury accommodations and retreat programming - silent weekends, crafting circles, digital detox - all designed for healing and restoration.
Vision
We're building community, not profit. Our members and retreat fees fund FREE Respite weekends for caregivers, teachers, and community organizers - aka, the real gift givers. We care about our neighbors, the river, and Northumberland County just as much as we care about our guests. This isn't a vacation rental - it's a movement toward peace, one rested human at a time.
