Mission
Gift House is a waterfront retreat center on the Great Wicomico River — a place to rest deeply, reconnect with yourself and nature, and leave ready to spread a little more peace in the world. We offer luxury accommodations, curated retreats, and venue rental for events such as girl trips, weddings, and business gatherings. All revenue goes directly toward keeping retreat pricing LOW and funding annual FREE Respite Weekends for caregivers, community advocates, and teachers.
Vision
We're building community, not profit. Membership and retreat fees fund FREE Respite Weekends for caregivers, community advocates, and teachers — the real gift givers. We care deeply about our neighbors, the river, and Northumberland County, not just our guests. This isn't a vacation rental.
It's a movement toward peace,

Decision Filters
Before anything happens at Gift House, we ask three questions:
• PERSON - Does it serve individual restoration, growth, and peace?
• PLACE - Does it honor our environment and sustain our property?
• COMMUNITY - Does it strengthen our neighbors and make a positive local impact?
If the answer is NO to any one of these — it doesn't happen at Gift House.
